Story
Kris grew up in Oregon in a family of 5. His mother and father taught him the values and principles of living a good and honorable life. His younger sister was and is someone that he has always respected for her strength and sweetness. His brother is 18 months older and Kris always looked up to him with his graphic design skills and programming skills that he somehow kept developing himself day after day.

For a song to catch on and to be unforgettable, it has to have a great hook. This is something that his dad told him years back. “It’s been huge for my song writing. I always try for something catchy, not just in the chorus, but all throughout the song. There are certain melodies and sounds that just pull at your emotions. My dad is a huge music listener and always had 50’s and 60’s music on when we were kids. I’m so glad he told me about this hook thing in a song. I mean, it can be a vocal, a guitar riff, a beat, whatever. It just has to be memorable.” -Kris

Kris has always been singing… the first Christmas program at church he did when he was about 10 years old with buddies from church. After that, he continued to sing.

“I remember singing in a class one time and another kid said that I sang like a girl. Apparently I sang high. I took it as a compliment even though I knew it wasn't and I never stopped reaching for the high notes.” -Kris

Kris was in his high school choir and performed solos for competitions and for school concerts. His senior year, he recorded himself with 4 parts to a song he wrote and sang solo along to the pre-recorded vocals for a choir concert.

After high school, Kris went on to sing and tour with an acappella group out of Pepperdine University. After college, he played shows at iconic Sunset Blvd. clubs like the Whisky A Go Go and the Key Club. He says, “I got to live my dream playing those places. I’m really thankful for that.”

His mom has always been his biggest fan, but truth be told, he’s always been her biggest fan. Kris says, “My mom has balance in life that a lot people don’t have, and she is incredibly optimistic and happy and fun. She really sees the big picture of things.” -Kris

A few years back, Kris met his other biggest fan, and wow, is she amazing. Gaby is the butter to his bread and the jam to his biscuit.

“I just never imagined my wife would be this supportive and inspiring and believe in me so much. The girl I somehow got the chance to be married to is way beyond anything I could have imagined! I am blessed to have the best support anyone could ever hope for.” -Kris

Kris and his best friend, Michael Gotto, met in college and were roommates during their second year of college. “Michael is a friend that most people only hope for. He always has my best interest in mind. I can trust him without any doubt. That is why he is my manager.” -Kris

Kris has written a lot of songs throughout his life and produced soundtracks for videos that have yet to be released. He says, “I think it’s been a little bit of a Walden Pond thing for me. I’ve been preparing and developing for a long time without putting a lot out there. But now it’s time to put it out there and see what we can do with it. So, here we go.”
